A: I see plenty of them in Maryland and it looks like a solid small SUV. It's too small and lacking power for my needs as a married parent of 2 kids with a motorcycle trailer, I much prefer the Santa Fe. I know that Hyundai has won many awards and has been producing very good vehicles throughout the 2000's that cost less then Toyota/Honda. We own a 2006 Azera and its been perfect for us so far.

It's in in-dash Garmin/Kenwood stereo system... Need to know how to update the maps in the GPS.

I'm thinking of getting a Tucson, but my sister says that Hyundai's are generally chick cars. I hardly ever see anyone driving Tucson's where I live. So, are they really chick cars?

The Cobalt and Tucson are decent but the Santa Fe is the nicest one out of the three. But also the most expensive.
With gas prices as high as they are a small 4 cly engine car, like the Cobalt, may be the best pick.
If your looking at a Cobalt also check out the Hyundai Elantra and Mazda 3. Both are also good small cars.

A: EPA gas mileage for the Tucson is 19 city/24 highway. That's for the top of the line 2.7 L V6 with four wheel drive. I would say that's not too bad for an suv. The Tucson is a new model so it's hard to say on resale value. The Santa Fe seems to be doing ok in that area though. It all depends on how the car's reputation holds up after a year or two. If there are no recalls and few complaints, it should hold its value pretty well. The quality of Hyundai vehicles has improved dramatically in the last few years and the resale value should begin to reflect that soon.
