i have a 2000 hyundai sonata 2.5 v6, the transmission pops and gts stuck in 3rd gear, it used to do ok accelerating but now it hardly makes it up a hill, i am thinking it might be a sensor cause when i took it in to get it checked the computer put out all kinds of weird codes the people at the shop didnt even know what was going on. If anyone could give me any advice/help thanks in advance
A: Could be the fuel pump does not pump up to specified fuel pressure to accellerate .

A: I think its in the owners manual. Other than that I would suggest buying a new Cd player from best buy/ circuit city and install that. It will sound better anyway.
Q: I have Hyundai sonata 2000, what should i check if my car makes poppoing sound when i turn?
When I turn left or right it makes popping sound, more noise when turning left and less when turning right, it sounds as if it is coming from driver side wheel
A: when does the noise happen? sitiing still turning or accelerating around a corner? if its a corner i'd say ya have a c.v. axle boot blown and it has worn the joint out. best bet would be to replace the whole axle shaft. usually reman axles come with a warrenty and approx. cost around 100 bucks. labor varies among repair shops. have the alignment reset since ya have to take suspension apart to replace. if sitting still and the noise happens i'd suspect strut mount pivot bearings.

Anyone know where my spark plugs are, I usually change my own plugs but am having difficulty finding them.
A: Find the coil packs, then follow the high tension wires. The other end of them will be the plugs.

I have hyundai sonata 2000. After a long drive the right front side of the car starts to smell of burnt rubber, especially in the wheel area, though the rubber itself is not hot, just normally warm.
