Q: 2007 hyundai accent -- Fan comes on when the car is turned off, despite the cold.. What could be wrong?
This evening we powered down our car and felt a slight vibration going through the seats and the steering wheel. We realized it was the car's outer fan kicking in, even while the ignition was off and it was below zero outside (I always thought the fan was to control the car from overheating..)
Is this normal? What could be the issue?
A: It could be normal.
Temperature switch may be set to allow the cooling fan to continue for a minute or two allowing the coolant to drop in temperature.
Check your owner's manual or call a local dealership as you car has a warranty that covers this item if it's not functioning properly.
Q: 2007 Hyundai Accent Side View Mirror?????
My sideview mirror was smashed. I have a Hyundai Accent 2007. Does anyone know the cost to have the sideview mirror replaced???
A: You are probably looking at a used one costing about $80 or more if you go to a salvage auto place & get one... if you have the dealership do it it will cost way more.
Q: 2007 Hyundai Accent had Champion spark plugs?
I just replaced the plugs in my car which has 28,000 miles and they were champion plugs not even platinum plugs...I put in Bosch Platinum 4 in ....I wonder what will be the difference it would be in gas milage and horse power...
A: Biggest difference is they will last a lot longer, I doubt you'll notice the 3% increase in fuel economy and horsepower or whatever it maybe.
Q: 2007 Hyundai Accent - Tire size & Snow tire question!?
I own a 2007 Hyundai Accent, 3 dr, automatic. I was just wondering if anybody knows what size tire is the standard for this car? Somebody told me 13" somebody else said 15"... just looking to get my fact straight.
Second question, does anybody know if you can have 2 snow tires, rather than 4???
Thank you in advance!
A: Your tire size should be on the drivers side front or rear door jam with the tire pressure info and vehicle weight. 13" is rare any more unless it's a very small car like an Metro or Aveo. If you have the orginal tires and wheel on the car it will say the size right on the tire with the wheel size... it'll be something like P195/75R15. The 15 on the end will be the wheel size. As far as snow tires go. If it's front wheel drive snow tire on the just the front would be ok, because the front wheels are the drive wheels and the turning wheels... Although rear snow tires would also help with braking.

Q: how do I take the seat out of a 2007 Hyundai Accent?
I had a friend that got really sick in the front seat of my 4 door 2007 Hyundai Accent and I need to pull out the seat to clean it and the carpet(it got everywhere) but I'm not sure if there is a special tool I need to do it. I also don't want to mess anything up.
Thanks for overstating the obvious Peopleareidiots... IF I just take the bolts out(of course, by clicking my heels together and saying come out come out) and pull it out it would likely mess up the sensors. How about someone who knows something about cares that isn't a Sarcastic Ass chime in.
A: Remove the bolts and pull it out.
Q: 2007 Hyundai accent has two temperature lights one blue one red what for?
A: if you are in the blue you are ok in the red you are overheating .
Q: does my 2007 hyundai accent (5 spd) have a timing belt?
i know it has to be changed to keep the warrentee in check regardless if it needs replacing or not. i just thought where i ad a manual transmission i might not have one, i got 38K and its all good. thanks all
A: Yes it does, I think that the owners manual will state to it around 60.000 miles, it used to be every 30k. I had the Hyundai Excel and it was a free wheeling engine,(where the valves won`t hit the pistons when it goes out) and I got 140.000 before it went. They are not to hard to replace but I worked for a Hyundai dealer up until 1992 as a technician. hope this will help you some. Just go to the scheduled maintanace in your owners manual for more info.

Q: 2007 Hyundai Accent 3 door?
I am thinking of purchasing this model in febuary or march of the coming year (I need a new car mine is 11 years old, and the price is right, and I work at the dealership) Now we haven't sold many of these, so we haven't had them in for service so I haven't heard much feed back on the car, if you have one or know someone who does, I would like to know what you think about how it drives, handels, how it does with gas, road noise, the radio, whatever you can tell me about it. Im specifically thinking of buying a manual, the GS with the premium package. Serious feedback only please.
A: Never listen to the people who say Hyundais and Kias are bad cars, because they are wrong. Sure, they used to be, like 10 years ago but now that is over and now Hyundai/Kia have the same or better quality than a lot of the Japanese makes such as Toyota. Hey, The Hyundai Entourage/Kia Sedona are the most safest minivans in every way to date.. hmm....
So yeah the Accent is a very good car, and from what I heard people haved been buying this car so much that they can't produce enough of them. I guess not at your dealership so get one now before they are all gone at other dealerships and then go to yours to get one. And yes, please get the manual, a lot more fun than automatic. Plus, I like a chick that drives stick hehe... So yeah it's really up to you but if it were me, buy it.
Q: I just bought a Hyundai Accent 2007, just wanted to know if anyone out there has one, any trouble with it?
A: hopefully it will be as good as my daughter's 04 accent. she is not good on maintenance but it still runs excellant after 70,000+ abused miles.
Q: 2007 Toyota Yaris vs. 2007 Hyundai Accent (hatchbacks)?
Anyone have any first hand experience with either of these cars? Trying to decide which to buy between the two and am wondering how they stand up a few months down the line.
Thanks!
A: The Toyota has a better repair record than the Hyundai - just look at Consumer Reports. My Toyota (a Corolla had 175K miles on it and I had to replace the battery, tires, and alternator on it over a ten year period. Minor maintenance in the scheme of things.
Hyundais are trying to win buyers by offering a longer warranty which is the company's way of creating an obligation on their books that is years away. By doing so, they hope to sell more cars now to build up cash reserves for the problems that will come later.
Don't forget to look at the Scion.
